Terms of Service

Last updated July 6, 2026

These terms cover your use of PostUp, a private space where a Host invites people to share photos and comments around an occasion. By using PostUp, you agree to them.

What PostUp is

A PostUp is a page created by its Host for a specific occasion or person — a birthday, a trip, a recurring get-together. The Host invites guests, who can view photos and leave comments. A PostUp can recur over time, stacking each occurrence into a shared history.

Accounts and invitations

You need an invitation from a PostUp's Host to join it. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for anything posted from your account. Don't share your password, and let us know if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and comments you post. By posting them, you give PostUp permission to store and display them to the people who can see that PostUp, so the service can work. You're responsible for what you upload — only post photos and comments you have the right to share, and don't post anything illegal, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights.

Public and private photos

Within a PostUp, each photo is marked public or private by a Host. Private photos are only visible to people logged in as guests of that PostUp. Public photos are visible to anyone with the link, even without logging in — this is what makes the invite email preview and a signed-out first look at the page possible. Consider that before marking something public.

Acceptable use

  • Don't upload content you don't have the right to share.
  • Don't harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
  • Don't use PostUp to distribute spam, malware, or illegal content.
  • Don't try to access another PostUp, or another account, that you haven't been invited to.

Termination

A PostUp's Host can remove a guest from that PostUp, or delete the PostUp entirely — which permanently deletes its photos and comments. We can suspend or remove an account that violates these terms.

No warranty

PostUp is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running and your content intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that data will never be lost, and we recommend keeping your own copies of photos that matter to you.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PostUp isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PostUp changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
